Bathtime

So today Kieran gave me a bath with the help of Michelle.

I tell you one thing- Baths are not my phavorite thing. I am not a phan of water in general, so you can see my problem with having a bath.

After they phinished bathing me, Kieran wrapped me up in a towel and dried me off. Then I got to go back to my house.

The only upside to this little "adventure" was that I got a lot of yummy veggies afterwords. And I smell better, too. :D

My phavorite phabulous Phiggle phoods.

Hello once again, dear phollowers!
I've decided for your entertainment/informational pleasure, I shall post a list of my phavorite phoods!

We shall start with....

  • Carrots: Kieran usually gives me one or two baby carrots, or a handful of slices from a normal-sized carrot.
  • Phresh grass: Yes, you heard right! Phresh grass is a really good phood for us piggies! Alot of times when Kieran takes me outside, I help myself to some grass. It's really good. Although, Kieran knows not to pheed me any grass that was cut by a lawnmower. And she also always remembers to not give me any grass that was/is treated with pesticides. Yuck!
  • Cucumbers: Cucumbers don't have much nutritional value, but they do have a higher water content and are a really good treat for me(and all piggies!) when it gets hot outside. I guess phor humans, it would be like a Popsicle. :)
  • Apples: I love apples! Kieran leaves the peel on, and makes sure that I don't eat any of the core. Apples are kind of like piggie candy, because-as most phruits do-, apples have natural sugar in them. So that is why when I do get apples, Kieran only gives me one or two slices.
  • Seedless grapes: My phavorite kind of grapes are the green ones, but the purple grapes are yummy, too! Grapes are kind of just a side-dish when I get my phood, so usually I just get one or two small ones. And Kieran only gives me seedless grapes. That's very important.
  • Corn: Corn is really good, and I like it either on the cob, or separated. Kieran just told me that she wants to buy me some of the big, whole corn cobs for two reasons. One- Because I love corn! And two- Because Guinea Pigs can also eat the leaves off of the corn cobs!
  • Celery: When Kieran gives me celery, she usually gives me half of a stick, cut up into small pieces. Why small pieces? Because celery is very stringy, and so by cutting it up into small pieces, it helps avoid any risk of choking.
  • Oranges: Oranges are one of my most phavorite phoods, they are high in vitamin C, which is what piggies like myself need most.
  • Green beans: And last but not least, the green beans. Kieran never gives me any of the canned green beans, but only the phresh ones. One or two at a time.

There you have it! Those are my top most phavorite phoods!

Hmmm...I guess it wouldn't hurt to add a list of phoods that piggies shouldn't eat, just so if any of you have a Piggie and want to make sure you're not pheeding him/her anything you shouldn't be.

  • Iceburg lettuce
  • Cabbage
  • Cauliflower
  • Raw beans
  • Nuts or seeds
  • Rhubarb
  • NEVER chocolate
  • Dairy products- i.e Cheese, ice cream, etc
  • Things like cookies or bread (Aww, no cookies for me?)
  • Any type of packaged/store bought pet phood besides Guinea Pig phood
  • Popcorn/dried corn kernels
  • Very sugary phoods
  • Any phried phoods
  • And just for the record- NEVER chocolate.

Gadzooks! Grasshoppers!

Oh. My. Gosh.

Why do Grasshoppers have to come in such large sizes?
And why, I ask you, must they HOP? Specifically in phront of me!

I am not a phan of bugs, insects or any kind of creature in that category. My Human phamily isn't very bothered by them, but think about it- Grasshoppers are teensy compared to the Humans, but they are rather large compared to me!

Now, at this point of this post, you may be asking yourself; "Why oh why, is Phineas ranting about Grasshoppers?"

I'll tell you why-

Because one was IN my house!

Here's how it all went down-

Earlier tonight, I was simply minding my own buisness and sitting inside my Phigloo, when suddenly, I heard a noise. So I wandered out of my Phigloo and looked around, when there, right in phront of me, was the biggest Grasshopper I had ever seen!

It was popping around my cage like it owned the place! I was worried that it would make a mess of my wonderful house!

Phinally, Kieran came over and saw the Grasshopper. This is what she said;

"EEEEEEEEK!"

I kid you not, dear phollowers. So then she dissapeared and returned only moments later with a piece of bright pink paper. She then began trying to scoop the Grasshopper out of my cage. I think I heard her laughing at some point. That wasn't phunny! I usually am a very brave Phig, but that Grasshopper was HUGE! So I quickly retreated to the green-plastic safety of my Phigloo.

I watched as Kieran tried and phailed many times to get the Grasshopper out of my house, before she phinally managed to scoop it up on the paper and put it outback.

What a relief!

But I'll tell you this, dear phollowers-

Grasshoppers are not meant to hop inside a Guinea Pig house! I should have a sign on my wall that says "Private property! No Grasshoppers allowed!"

But at least THAT ordeal is over.

Mysterious Guinea Pig

I just love being mysterious. Don't you?

Adventures in the backyard!

Because Michelle was out of the house today, Kieran had the job of watering the many(MANY) trees, bushes, and vegetables(yum..) that are in Michelle's garden. And I got to go out with her. First I sat in the grass sunbathing while she watered the plants on and around the porch, then she watered the trees and I ran around the yard. I was sooooo speedy! You should've seen me, in all my awesome speedy-ness!
Anyway-
Then we moved to the vegetable garden, my favorite part! Kieran had to keep pulling me away from the vegetables. Home grown vegetables are the best.

Except Cabbage. Even though cabbage is very tasty, it causes Guinea Pigs to get bloated and become very gassy. Which isn't pleasant for me. (OR Kieran!)
So I try to stay away from the Cabbage. No matter how tempting it looks and smells!

Back to my adventure!
We moved to another part of the yard after Kieran was done taking care of the plants, and she let me run around in the tall grass in the yard. She kept kneeling down next to me and singing "Eye of The Tiger"! Plus she kept singing random songs she made up. I think one of them was called "Speedy Piggie"......though slightly embarrassing, it was entertaining. Heh...phunny humans. After I was done running around in the grass, Kieran put me on the swinging bench outside and sat next to me for a while. It's quite relaxing, that swinging bench. Plus, I get alot of sun sitting there. And I absolutely love sitting in the sun.

After that, Kieran took me onto the porch so I could run around on the concrete and file my nails down a bit.
Then we went inside and Kieran gave me some veggies, which might have been the best part of the day!

On the night of All Hallows Eve

Happy Halloween, dear phollowers!

Ah, yes. Halloween. Even though tonight was my phirst Halloween, I phind that I quite like it! The costumes! The parties! And of course, the candy!
Kieran wanted to make me a vampire cape for my costume, but she said she phorgot. (Very suspicious....)
Next year I will make sure that she doesn't phorget. I would love to dress up!
Also, I do wish to go trick-or-treating next year. It sounds like so much phun! Although I bet Kieran wouldn't let me have any of the candy...:( Chocolate isn't good for me. But I'd be happy to trade my candy for some carrots! Oh! Oh! Jack-o-Lanterns would be really phun, too! My human phamily didn't make Jack-o-Lanterns this year. But I think that they made
Jack-o-Turnips or something like that. This year Kelsey dressed up as a phairy. She was so adorable! Almost as adorable as me, in phact.
Kieran was a gypsy. Although she looked kinda like a pirate, if you ask me. But whatever phloats your boat.

Kieran went to a Halloween party tonight instead of going trick-or-treating. She told me that she had a really good time, and that the people there were really loud and noisy. Sounds like my kind of crowd!
She also told me that among the crowd, some of the costumes were;
"The Scream", a Disco-dancer, a mummiphied Angel(I kid you not.), a hamster, a lady bug, two vampires, and "The Joker".
I wish I was there! I would have loved to see those costumes!

Now the sad part of this post-
October is over! O-V-E-R, over! Can you belive how phast it went by? I sure can't.
But I'm looking phorward to November and all of the (hopefully) cooler weather it brings!

So, dear phollowers, grab some Halloween candy, blow out the candles in the Jack-O-Lanterns, and relax.
Because next year, dear phollowers, is going to be a Phineas Phig Halloween.

A very small cage and a phew dozen people.

*Sniff* I think I'm gonna cry.
My human phamily hosted a party at the house today. But I don't think I was invited. :(
They put me in a very small cage upstairs in Colleen's bedroom. And by small, I mean barely even big enough to it my Phigloo inside of the cage.
Yeah, it was that small.
But eventually Kieran and Jessyca came upstairs and held me whilse they sat upon the top of the stairs. And then some of their relatives-At least I think they were their relatives- came up and admired me. Ha, I love it when people adore me. Even though I do wish they would invite me to some of these parties sometimes, it wasn't all that bad.
It wasn't totally phabulous, either, but it wasn't bad.

It was very loud while the party was going on. And even now, when only a phew people are still here, it's still loud. VERY loud.
And Jessyca is still here, too. Which means that she'll end up holding me again. Hrm.
I think that I'm going to have to sleep in the very small cage tonight, because my big, nice, wonderful house is outside tonight, and there are party tables set up everywhere, so there is not really any room for my house.
But I hope that Kieran brings my Phigloo upstairs and puts it into the very small cage.
That would make the situation a little bit better.

Dizzy....

Stand back, I may just up-chuck.

Why, you ask? I shall tell you.
Because today while Kieran was cleaning out my house, Kelsey had me sit on the bench/swing-ish type thing next to her. That thing goes PHAST. Kelsey kept swinging it back and phorth, back and phorth, back and- Well, you get the point. My little phiggy stomach could barely take it. Thankfully, Kieran came over and sat down next to us and told Kelsey to stop swinging. So she did. Phew....

Jessyca and Jenna came over for a visit once again today. I think I'm getting used to Jessyca. She's still my mortal enemy, though. ;D

*Sigh* I think The Birds are talking about me again. Even as I am sitting at the computer at this very moment, I can hear them whispering. I can barely make out the words "Pig" and "Weirdo".....yeah....they're talking about me. I should go back to my house and eavesdrop on them now. Muah ha ha.

Hmmm....This post is painfully short, is it not? Oh well, I don't have much time. I still love you all, though!

What is the point of nicknames?

Oh my.

It's been a while since my last post, hasn't it? Yes, terribly sorry about my absence over the last week.

Anyway- I shall continue this post as any other.

What is the point of nicknames? The humans like to call me "Phigoo" and "Phigley" along with many other belittling nicknames. I know that they get enjoyment out of those little nicknames, but why must they constantly call me by them? I mean, I rarely ever hear them calling me "Phineas" anymore. Gosh. They might as well just change my name. No-wait. They read this blog. That might give them an idea. Nevermind.
I wonder if they have any embarrassing nicknames? Hmm, I shall have to look into this. I bet The Birds know some nicknames for them. Yes, that's a good idea. When I return to my house I shall have a little chat with them. Although- The Birds themselves to have some nicknames for me- "Stuuuuupid Pig." and "Freak"
Those are worse than the humans nicknames for me! Sheeeeze.

Ugg, my little phiggy head hurts from thinking about all these nicknames.

Yesterday, when Kelsey walked past my cage, I stared at her reeeealllllyyyy intently through the wall of my phigloo. She phreaked out. Kieran did too. It must have been my little red eyes, penetrating into their souls. MUAH hahahhaa....I wish. But they did phreak out a bit.

I can hear Kieran walking down the stairs. "Phineas! Phineas Phiggle!" she is calling. I can tell it's her more than ever today- she's sick. And you can hear it in her voice.
I must go cuddle with her now and make her feel better.

Away I go!

Lost. Carrots. Piggie Diapers. *Sigh*

Not a lot happened today, Kieran and a few of the other humans were out of the house for the afternoon, I don't know where they went.
Does nobody tell me anything anymore? *Sigh*

But anyway-
Earlier this evening, Kieran took my out of my cage and did the unthinkable-
She wrapped me up in what she calls a "Piggie Diaper"! I hate those blasted things! If only she knew that. Then she took me upstairs into Michelle's room and made me watch "Lost" with them. I don't really like that show. Too dramatic, if you ask me. I'm a simple phiggie, and I don't need all of that "Oh, how could you!" and "I can't believe I actually trusted you!"
But I did get some corn and carrots while I watched it, so it wasn't all that bad.

I had a conversation with The Birds when I got back to my house. Even though I can't stand The Birds, they are almost, slightly, kind of interesting to talk to. They like to call me "Pig". I told them that I do have a name, -See banner above- but they just laughed at me and started talking like pirates. I wonder why they call me Pig? I don't even think they have names. Or...maybe they do....but I only ever hear the humans call them "The Birds"......so....that's what they are named...I suppose.

Oh! Kieran let me run around outback tonight. There were SO MANY STARS! It was very nice. The grass was wet, but the fresh air was wonderful.

'Tis all............................for now......

It's late. (Early?)

It is either very late, or very early.

Either way- It is the time that little piggies such as myself should be sleeping peacefully whilst dreaming about vegetables. And yet, here I am! Awake in the wee hours of the morning to write to you!
The humans finally went upstairs to bed, and now I have the chance to blog without interruptions. The only reason I am blogging so late is because Kieran stayed up until 2:00 AM, Instant Messaging one of her friends. Can you believe that?

Anyway-
Today(Yesterday? The time confuses me.) was a pretty nice day. Some of Kieran's cousins -Including Jessyca- came over this afternoon and they went outback. I think that they were digging holes for a tree? I'm not sure, but I can only see so far out of the window before my wall gets in the way.
Then later this evening some of my human family went to a phestival, -or something like that- and I wanted to go with them, and that I could easily just fit in one of their pockets or bags. But Kieran said no. Spoil my fun, sure. A few hours after they got home, one of them set up a little play tent in the area at the bottom of the stairs. Kelsey and one of her friends played in it for a while. And then Kieran kept crawling in and out of it with the dogs. She was shouting things like "No, Conrad! Don't go out there!" and "The enemy is too strong for us, retreat!" hmm. She is very strange.

AND THEN! If that wasn't even enough, a while later, Michelle thought it would be funny to put a ponytail-holder around my neck like some silly circus animal! I fought back by running around my cage like a phsyco-phig until Kieran finally took it off. Thank goodness that she was on my side. :)

That's all for now. I should go to sleep.

Night-night!

Jessyca and dancing pants.

Well......

Jessyca came over once again today. She made me sit on her lap while she and Kieran began the baby talk one again. *Sigh*
That gets on my nerves, I'll tell you that. And then, out of the blue- Jessyca suddenly has a pair of neon pink paper pants, no bigger than myself! She started making weird sounds - I think she was trying to mimic music?- and made the "pants" dance around my face and on my back! I tried to tolerate it for as long as I could, but I snapped and ripped the pants out of her hands and tossed them off of the couch! Ah ha! Victory! Then she - Jessyca - refused to let me sit on her shoulder! Can you believe her? But after a while I finally got to go back to my cosy Phigloo.

Kieran cleaned my cage yesterday and now it smells like oranges.....no!...peaches. No.... Coconut? Passion fruit? Whatever, one of those.

Oh my goodness! I must tell you something before I forget!
The other day, Kieran gave me some of the sweetest corn that I have ever had! It was like candy! Ohhh.......it was yummy. Corn is one of my favourite vegetables ever. Next to carrots.

I have been informed by The Birds (The parakeets that live with us) that Sean has flown away in a plane again. That must be why everyone was up so early this morning! They were up before the sun was even thinking about rising!

Oh, and sorry about forgetting to post yesterday. I didn't get a chance to get on the computer because my human family was on it alot.

Texas. Stars. Baby talk. Busy piggie!

Today was interesting......several of my human family members got up and came downstairs very early. They all seemed very busy during the morning, so none of them really paid attention to me or said Good Morning. A while after they came downstairs, they left the house. I heard the garage door opening, which means that they drove somewhere in the car. They all came back, but Sean did not. I overheard Michelle talking about it today, apparently he went somewhere called "Texas" on an "Airplane" to do "Work". (Hahahaha....that was Phunny.)

I am not entirely sure when he will be back. Hopefully soon, though. Kieran took me out a few hours ago and tried to talk to me. Although the way that the humans talk to me is rather belittling. Example:
"Oh, Phineas Phiggy! Who's the cutest wittle piggie in the whole world? You are!"

Do you see how annoying that could get? Do they think I have the mind of an infant? I mean, c'mon.....I'm a Guinea Pig......with a blog.......Shouldn't that say something?

Aside from that- I also got to go outback tonight for some fresh air. The weather was lovely. And the stars were especially bright. Whenever I get to go outside in the evening, there are usually clouds blocking my view. But seeing the stars again was nice. :) Kieran made me go into her room and watch as she decorated her walls with picture of some German boy(With HUGE hair, like a freakin' lion's mane!) from some German band....Tokio something or other. It took her a long time. And she only covered a little bit of her wall! I haven't seen Kelsey all evening, I think she is spending the night at one of her little friend's houses. I've had a pretty full day! I shall now go sit in my house and squeak adorably at Kieran until she gives me a carrot.

A party isn't a party without me.

Today Kieran and her family went to a family party/BBQ at one of their relatives homes. And guess what?.............They didn't take me! Can you believe it?! And everyone knows that I am ALWAYS the life of the party! So their party must have been booooring! Although when they got home, they all seemed happy. But they were probably faking being happy, to make me think that they had a wonderful time. Right now Kieran is sitting at the table working on a paper, and I don't think that she has noticed that I am sitting at the computer typing on my blog. Oh drat! Someone is walking down the stairs! I must be phast and phurious and get out of here before someone catches me!

PRO; I got some green beans! Woot!

CON; I was not invited to this so called "Family party"

Socks. Merlin. Strange.

Merlin loves socks. Plain and simple. I have never met a dog who loves socks as much as he does. Well, then again, I've never really met any other dogs besides Merlin....except Jonas and Friday. But they don't like socks. When Kieran took me out today I saw that there were several socks laying on the floor that had obviously been dog-chewed. I've even seen Merlin carrying around socks and chewing on them before. He is rather strange, that dog. Today I poked my head over my wall and I saw him doing something else that was especially odd. Katie was kneeling on the ground, and Merlin kept running and leaping over her. Sometimes he would land on her back. I think I heard Kieran say something about it. It had something to do with frisbees. Merlin is a very strange dog. Right now he is watching as I type this post and he is twisting his head from side to side. Do all dogs do this strange thing. Hmmm.....I shall ponder this thought....

Lily's blog.

I must type this quickly while Kieran is upstairs-

Kieran's friend/cousin, Jessyca, has a parakeet named Lily who recently decided to start a blog much like my own. This makes me happy, because I think that all animals and pets should get a chance to speak out.

I am an art model. Yay!

Today Kieran decided to draw some pictures of me. So I got to sit on a little models platform(AKA; a plastic box.) and model as she drew. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but hopefully sometime soon I can post one of them on my (Phabulous) blog. In other news; Sean likes my blog. Which makes me happy. I'm smiling as I type this. I know you can't see me smiling, but just pretend. Imagine.

Jessyca. Board Games. Save me.

Today was a....um......"interesting" day. It started off totally normal, but as the day progressed, things just got WEIRD. When Kieran came downstairs first thing in the morning, she paid more attention to the dogs than she did me! That is just WRONG. Wrong, I tell you! Wrong! Then she FINALLY came over to my "house" and only said Hello to me before walking away! A few hours later, Kieran's friend, Jessyca, (AKA; My arch nemesis) came over and the two of them made me play BOARD GAMES with them! And all I got today was a carrot! From KATIE! I like Katie more than Kieran sometimes because Katie doesn't talk so much..

CON; EVERYTHING.

Sunday. VMA time. Eeek!

Today Kieran kept obsessing over something called "The VMAs" which is supposedly on the T.V tonight. She keeps dancing around and singing, "The VMAs are on toooniiiiight!"
It's very annoying. Trust me.

What else I did today.........

  1. Ate some veggies. (Favourite part of the day.)
  2. Spent some time outside.
  3. Sat on a spinny-chair and got dizzy.
  4. Looked adorable.

PRO: The Vegetables were fresh. :)

CON: Kieran kept singing that VMA song.
